The Secretary General of the Socialist Party, and also the political leader of the Durrës district, Blendi Klosi, spoke about the movements announced a few days ago by Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Klosi stated on the show "Noë me Erla Mëhillin" that all movements are the internal organization of the SP before the 2027 local elections.

Regarding his appointment as district leader in Durrës, Klosi said that his return was an important moment, adding that on the eve of local elections, a mayor cannot also be a district leader.

"Every pre-election year we have started preparing early. We have our internal organization before the elections. We will also have elections in our local structures. According to the SP statute, the entire structure is elected every two years and the leadership forums every four years. So as long as the race is won, the party leader is also confirmed.

In 35 years, we are at the most winning moment of our party. In no race does the Socialist Party enter to lose a municipality. We have been competing for years to win them all. I have the 6th or 7th district that is moving. Returning to Durrës was an important moment. We are more than in 2021. Even with the movement of the political leader in Durrës, it is illogical for Emirjana Sako to be both leader and mayor.

" I held a meeting with the leadership group of the PS Durrës. The entire structure of the PS has been activated nationwide. It is the best way to assimilate the issues that arise in the campaign. The analysis in the Assembly highlighted both achievements and issues ," said Klosi. /CNA
