A survey conducted by cna.al from February 22 to March 19 has highlighted Albanians' attitudes towards the opposition protests. The results are clear:
64% of citizens think that the protests should continue.
27% are against
9% do not have a clear opinion, voting for the 'I don't know' alternative.

According to the survey, the vast majority of citizens support the opposition's mobilization, indicating widespread dissatisfaction with the current government.
But why does the majority support the opposition protests?
The survey result, where 64% of citizens are in favor of continuing the protests, shows that the majority of citizens feel disappointed or dissatisfied with the current government policies. This is a clear indicator that the protests are not just a political initiative of the opposition, but reflect broad public sentiment on political, economic and social issues. Participation in protests is seen as a civic engagement, but also as a direct way to influence decision-making, especially when institutions seem to be failing to take measures that address their concerns.
Percentage of undecided
For the 9% who do not have a clear opinion, the result shows that there are still citizens who are unsure about the continuation of the protests. This group may influence the future dynamics of the protests, as some may join or oppose later, depending on political developments.
Percentage of opponents
With 27% opposing the continuation of the protests, it is shown that a part of the population is in a kind of resistance to possible political clashes, not supporting the protests, indicating the existence of a division.
This pure and theoretical interpretation of the data obtained from the survey shows a certain approach for the specific period when the question was addressed to citizens, while the data from the perspective of political influence may influence the opposition's decisions on the intensity and form of protests in the coming weeks and months. /CNA
