Erion Veliaj's complexes from Paraspuari

The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, arrested since February 2025, has on many occasions launched attacks and accusations against his opponents or citizens, regarding their origin, education, or career.

We recall here the cases when he appeared in interviews and addressed the satirical website "Lolita" as Anisa e Vithkuqi. So, the person who is now arrested with 13 serious criminal charges, used to attack people by origin. He was attacked by someone who is himself from Paraspuari of the administrative unit Tërpan, in Berat.

A village that is 121 kilometers from Tirana. Veliaj from Paraspuari came and became mayor of Tirana and is considered an old "Tirons".

In Tirana, Veliaj became mayor, not because of his origin, but because of the political conjuncture. With two military parents from the dictatorship era, Erion Veliaj from Paraspuari comes out and attacks people for their origin. These attacks are made by the arrested mayor out of his personal dissatisfaction.

" No, no, let Anisa from Vithkuqi raise her two children like everyone else, not with fines, " Veliaj once declared.

In wiretaps made in Durrës prison, where he has been held since February 2025, and published by CNA, Veliaj referred to the then Interior Minister, Ulsi Manja, as a dirty villager. The mayor of Tirana, originally from the village of Paraspuar, uses this fact as an insulting term for other people.

Erion Veliaj has a complex about his origins and he has displayed this complex in his statements.

Likewise, Erion Veliaj, in an interview a few years ago, came out and insulted Albanian boys, referring to them as "zdromsa". A label that later turned into a "boomerang", since with the word "zdroms" used by him, it is Veliaj who is now being labeled.

" Albanian kids are completely screwed. I'm serious ," Veliaj said in an interview a few years ago.

 

Another case where Veliaj insults citizens is in the protests held for the Great Ring Road. While citizens were protesting for their apartments in Astir, Veliaj referred to them as cavemen and barbarians who want to destroy. Or the cases of the protesters at the National Theater, which he labeled as "people who have not washed their eyes."

" Even for the New Boulevard, it was the same party, cavemen, who destroy ," declared Veliaj.

 

The arrested mayor, Erion Veliaj, has called the protesters against him "delusional." We recall here the case of the protests at the Artificial Lake park, where he referred to them as a bunch of delirious people clamoring to appear on television.

Një tjetër kompleks që ka kryebashkiaku i akuzuar për 5 vepra të rënda penale është shkollimi. Kompleks, të cilin e shfaq duke sulmuar personat e tjerë. Diploma dhe shkollimi i Erion Veliajt kanë qenë gjithmonë temë debati me disa hije dyshimi.  Erion Veliaj, një njeri i cili ka vetëm një diplomë të nivelit Bachelor, sulmon individë që janë shumë më të shkolluar se ai.

Mund të marrim si shembull këtu, padinë e tij qesharake në Administrative ndaj prokurorit Ols Dado, ku pretendon se Dado nuk ka kryer Shkollën e Magjistraturës.

Veliaj kërkon që Dado të mos jetë prokuror i posaçëm pasi nuk ka kryer Magjistraturën, ndërsa Veliaj vetë ka thjesht një Bachelor, e konfirmuar kjo edhe nga universiteti “Grand Valley State” në një përgjigje për CNA. Një diplomë, me të cilën Veliaj, sipas legjislacionit, nëse do të punonte në administratë, do të ishte thjesht një vartës i ndonjë specialisti apo vartës i ndonjërit prej drejtorëve të tij të “5D”-së.

Ndërsa prokurori Ols Dado ka përfunduar shkollën me nota të shkëlqyera, është emëruar avokat, prokuror. Erion Veliaj nuk e pranon dot që dikush të jetë më i aftë se ai, më i shkolluar se ai dhe e ka shfaqur qartë këtë kompleks tjetër të tij ashtu si kompleksin e origjinës.

Kryebashkiaku i arrestuar për 5 vepra të rënda penale, Erion Veliaj, sulmon individët për karrierën e tyre. Bën sulme për karrierën një person, i cili, duke iu referuar shkollimit që ka, të cilin, siç e përmendëm edhe më sipër, nuk mund të bënte asnjë karrierë tjetër përveç se karrierë si vartës i ndonjë specialisti në administratë. Kaq, asgjë më shumë.

Duke u ndalur sërish te rasti i prokurorit Ols Dado, kujtojmë këtu se si Veliaj ka hedhur akuza për emërimin e Dados si prokuror apo dhe kalimin e vetingut, duke shkuar deri te padia në Gjykatën Administrative apo lobimet në Departamentin e Shtetit.

Prokurori Ols Dado është emëruar sipas të gjitha kritereve ligjore dhe ka kaluar me sukses të gjitha shkallët e vetingut. E ndërsa Erion Veliaj që e sulmon ka bërë karrierë politike si ministër apo kryetar bashkie, jo për aftësi apo shkollimin e tij të jashtëzakonshëm. Erion Veliaj ka bërë karrierë në sajë të partisë së tij, PS-së. E nisi nga "Mjaft"-i, ku protestonte ndaj Partisë Socialiste. Kaloi te "G99" e më pas u fut në "gjirin" e Partisë Socialiste, e cila dhe e solli në pushtet dhe i dha poste.

Veliaj has a complex career and cannot accept that others have made a career with their personal skills, since he himself knows his worth. We recall his candidacy in the 2009 parliamentary elections, where he ran with G99 and failed to receive even 1% of the votes. More precisely, in the 2009 elections, the party he was running with received only 0.86% of the votes.

With 13 charges for 5 serious criminal offenses, Erion Veliaj, for his personal ego or complexes, attacks individuals for their origin, education or career. /CNA
