The Special Court suspends Deputy Prime Minister Balluku from office, prohibits

The Special Court has issued two security measures for Belinda Balluku, suspension of the exercise of her duties and functions as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, and a ban on leaving the country, measures announced yesterday afternoon.

The decision was given by Judge Erion Çela, requested by Prosecutor Dritan Prençi, on charges of violating equality in tenders.

Sources of Top Channel journalist Anila Hoxha indicate that the accusations against Deputy Prime Minister Balluku for violating equality in tenders are related to the issue of the Llogora tunnel and lot 4 of the Great Ring Road in Tirana.

Referring to sources, journalist Anila Hoxha reports that investigators from the National Bureau of Investigation, who were provided with the document, have been ordered to inform official Belinda Balluku of the measures.
