Problematic roads, flooding and subscribers without electricity/ How the

According to the official announcement of the local authorities in Korça, the situation with the consequences of the rainfall in this region remains problematic mainly due to the flow of rivers and streams in several villages.

The electricity supply situation also remains problematic, with a total of 148 subscribers reported to be without power.

 

1. Korça Municipality

The Denas-Lekas ??axis was made difficult to pass due to the rising water level. Korça municipality structures have been working to normalize the situation.

In Voskopoja, the watershed reached high levels, but following the intervention of a dredge to open the discharge channel, the situation is moving towards normalization.

Near the village of Lubonjë, there is an increased presence of water and the bridge is difficult to pass, and the structures of the Korça municipality have worked to normalize the situation. There are also alternative roads to connect to the rest of the unit.

 

2. Municipality of Pogradec

In the village of Geshtenjas, there was a problem with the flow of water, but the structures intervened and there were no problems.

 

3. Maliq Municipality

The situation at the confluence of the Dunavec and Devoll rivers in the Maliqi plain is being monitored, as there are very high water flows.

 

4. Devoll Municipality

In the village of Çetë, above Miras, the bridge of this segment has been damaged and local structures have taken measures to stop traffic, as the situation poses a danger to passers-by. In this case, we will forward the request for support from the Ministry of Defense.

The Arrza bridge was also damaged, but access to the village is provided by an alternative road and local municipal structures will continue to take measures for its rehabilitation.

In the village of Ziçisht, we were alerted to the blockage caused by inert materials and local structures are taking the appropriate measures.

 

5. Pustec Municipality

In the Lajthizë-Liqenas segment, there was water on the road, the services sector has intervened and the situation is moving towards normalization.

 

6. Municipality of Kolonja

Mesi?ka village: Increased river flows, endangering the village bridge and several power poles. Groups have been on the ground to normalize the situation.

Mollas Village: The road was flooded and structures on the ground worked to fully normalize the situation.

The Roti reservoir was on the verge of its maximum level, the spillways were opened and the situation is being monitored.

Measures have also been taken to secure the small Kodra reservoir.

In the Sheleguri area, there were numerous stream flows that exceeded the bridge's capacity, but the situation was normalized and is being monitored by the contractor and inspectors of the Center-East Regional Directorate (ARRSH).

 

6. The Center-East Regional Directorate (CED) reports that the situation on the main road axes has normalized.

Ersekë–Leskovik axis: Contractor and inspectors report manageable situation; interventions are continuing.

On the Maliq-Lozhan axis, near the intersection of the village of Kolanec, works were carried out to systematize the stream waters.

The Qafë e Qarrit – Ersekë axis is cleared and passable.

Qafa e Qarrit–Ersekë axis (old road) - The bridge was cleaned of trees and materials brought by the floods.

 

7. OSHEE teams are working to fix the defects and the current situation is;

-Feeder Nst Gjanc partially working - 10 subscribers without power in Shipska and Krushova.

-Feeder no. 17, Korça substation, 1 cabin out of order - 6 subscribers without power.

-Feeder no. 6 Nst Mollas partially working - 90 subscribers without power.

-Feeder Vithkuq, NST Rehovo partially working - 42 subscribers without power.
