The governor of the Bank of Albania, Gent Sejko, spoke about disinformation. He reported that disinformation is a disturbing phenomenon for the country's democracy.

Sejko stated in the Disinformation Commission that disinformation is a strong weapon for destabilizing financial institutions.

The governor said the dangers posed by misinformation are as serious as cyber attacks.

He pointed out that the banking system was affected by cyber attacks, but there were no serious material consequences.
