Analyst Andi Bushati expressed reservations about Greece's relationship with Albania, regarding the case of Fredi Beleri.

Bushati said that official Athens is hypocritical in relation to Albania.

He cited Greece's veto pressure while Beleri was in prison and its failure to mention it after Beleri's release.

"I don't agree with Beleri as an elected person, as an MEP who died there with the votes of the Greeks. There is hypocrisy of official Athens in relation to Albania. Taking the last example, the veto mentioned by Beleri.

As long as Beleri was a political prisoner, Athens said we would veto. A rigging was found. Beleri went from prison in Albania to Brussels and the veto evaporated.

I, as a citizen of Albania, who denounced the political process against Beler, did not do this to solve the personal fate of Alfred Beler, but because I felt sorry for the democracy of my country, that I, and you, could have the same fate after a year.
