The Kakavija-Ioannina road will be closed again today due to the protests that Greek farmers have been holding for several weeks. According to the border police, the road will be blocked until further notice.
The blockade will begin at 11:30, Albanian time, and only vehicles with health emergencies will be allowed to circulate.

The Kakavija Border Police, through the Kakavija Joint Information Exchange Center, has been notified by the Greek Border Police that today, from 12:30 (Greek time) until further notice, the Kakavija-Ioannina road axis, at the intersection of the village of Kallpaq, will be blocked due to the protest that farmers will hold.
Only vehicles with health emergencies will be allowed to circulate.
The Kakavija Border Police asks for citizens' understanding and suggests planning vehicle trips at other times of the day. /CNA
