Ish-kryeministri, Sali Berisha në një postim në rrjetet sociale ka publikuar një intervistë të Johann Wadephul, zyrtarit gjerman të partisë CDU/CSU.

Berisha shkruan se “Dyert e Europes i mbyll Edvin Kristaq Krimi me narkqeveritaret dhe bandat e tij, ” duke postuar edhe intervistën e plotë të Wadephul, për “Shekullin”.

Christian Schmidt, Raporteri për Shqipërinë në grupin parlamentar të CDU/CSU të Bundestagut përforcon sot në një intervistë me media shqiptare mesazhin e djeshëm të kolegut Johann Wadephul se Gjermania mund të japë dritën e gjelbër për çeljen e e neogciatave me BE vetëm pasi të ndëshkohen politikanët që janë kapur në votëblerje sipas hetimeve të prokurorisë.
Me këtë intervistë deputeti Schmidt përsëriti qendrimin publik që ai mbajti në fund të prillit gjatë vizitës së tij në Tiranë. Ai theksoi sërish se opozitës i ishin mohuar të drejtat demokratike dhe se nuk duhet fajësuar thjesht ajo për largimin nga parlamenti. Gjitashtu ai thekson se vetëm një marrëveshje mes qeverisë e opozitës e nxjerr vendin nga konfrontimi.

1. Mr. Schmidt, what are the main concern for Germany, over Albania?

The current political confrontation between the government and the opposition has to be settled. Parliamentary structures should work and represent the different democratic positions. In order to start negotiations about EU accession there needs to be a visible commitment in fighting organized crime and corruption through independent institutions. Especially the investigations on election fraud have to be carried out consequently by the public prosecutors.

2. Do you believe that political boycott is the best options that political opposite can make?

I believe that both sides should work on ending the confrontation and come to a political understanding. A democratic system can only work with a functioning opposition that has been granted fundamental rights.

3. The judicial reform is very important for Albania and the main criteria for EU. Do you believe that this reform is taking any success here?

There has already a real progress been made. Of course this has to be continued. Justice reform is of highest importance. We expect respect of the constitution and democratic dedication.

4. Does Germany will back the June status for Albania?

We will have to wait for the European Commission to publish its progress report on Albania and then will take the time that is needed to reach a commentary both in Germany and on the European level. Whether this will happen in June or some months later is not decisive.

5. Last week the Dutch Parliamentary group have passed a motion to prevent the visa free regime for Albanian citizens. Do you think that this is a negative move for Albania?

In the end we will have to decide on the European level on the visa regime as well as on accession talks. I had a good impression of the new Interior Minister Lleshajs commitment concerning the state of law.
