I’m going to Jordan ?? with @visitjordan in two days! Here is a #GirlEatWorld by @sceatheworld at the desert of Wadi Rum when she went a few months ago. This is Ma’amoul, aka Dates cookies that are very popular in Levantine countries such as Jordan, Israel, Palestine, Lebanon and Syria. The thousands of palm trees around the desert of Jordan results in great varieties of dates, from blonde to dark to the almighty Majdool date, the king of all dates. I can’t wait to explore Amman, Jerash, the Dead Sea, Dana, and of course, the majestic Petra!! I have also been dilligently watching @migrationology’s Jordan foodlogs on youtube too to prepare myself for all the delicious Jordanian cuisine ??

?????? Pisang Goreng (Banana Fritters) with cheese and chocolate above the clouds ?? at Mount Rinjani Crater Rim in Lombok, Indonesia. This past weekend I went on my first-ever climbing trip with my buddies @franciak, @shekbagg, @boycodesworld and @heyitsabhi. Mount Rinjani is an active volcano located in Lombok island. This delicious banana fritters was freshly prepared for us by our porters from @hallotrekker! It’s a snack I’ve always loved as a child growing up in Indonesia. I have written a post on the details of our trek experience. Link is in my profile above ? #ShotOniPhone6sPlus #TeamRinjaniTG #Rinjani #MountRinjani

? a Panda-bun filled with red bean in Kobe, Japan by @op.118! She got it from Kobe’s chinatown area, called Nankinmachi – named after Nanjing which used to be the capital of China. “Machi” means town in Japanese! Nankinmachi was developed by Chinese merchants after Kobe Port was opened to foreign trading in 1868 and became a vibrant area bustling with trades and restaurant by early 1920s. And! It’s time to announce my next trips – I am off to Lombok to hike Mount Rinjani ??? this weekend, then I will be traveling to Jordan ?? with @visitjordan for 8 days next weekend. I am sooooo looking forward to it! ? #toocutetoeat

???? A Sakura-flavored ice cream in front of Sakura trees at Arashiyama Park in Kyoto! I spy @op.118 ? hanging about in the background. Visiting Japan during Hanami season is a must-do! Everytime the wind blew into this park, sakura petals would fall all around us like pink snow. The sakura trees in Japan have probably thinned out by now, but I will cherish this moment forever ?? #ShotOniPhone6sPlus #icecream #icecreamking #eeeeeats

My morning Teh Tarik at Maxwell Food Centre in Chinatown. Got teased by a hawker uncle while I was taking this pic… ?? “Come come, I take for you” he said. The drink is traditionally served in a plastic bag with green plastic holder and a straw if you order the iced version and choose to tapao (take-away) the drink Teh Tarik literally means “pulled tea” in Malay. The name comes from the way this tea is poured during preparation, which includes an impressive “pulling” motion while pouring it back and forth between two cups. This is done to mix the ingredients (black tea and condensed milk) and create that smooth, frothy and creamy texture. The origins of Teh Tarik are traced back to the Indian-Muslim immigrants in World War II, who sets up drink stalls to serve workers in the rubber planations of Malay peninsula. Nowadays, it remains a popular beverage of choice for breakfast in both Malaysia and Singapore! ????

Hai gaiz! I kicked off 2016 with a dream diving trip that were planned for over a year. I’ve been on a liveaboard on MV Black Manta for the past 6 days in Raja Ampat in West Papua, Indonesia where the diving is just phenomenal. We clocked in 19 dives and saw everything we hoped to see! Follow me at @ichabunni for diving stories. We are usually anchored far away from land so fishermen and villagers would come visit on a boat with goods. They brought us coconut for $1! ???
