VIDEO/ Riots continue at the stadium, fierce clashes between Elbasan and Tirana fans

Severe riots were recorded before the start of the match between Elbasan and Tirana, valid for the last week of the Superior Category.

The clashes between the two fan groups initially started outside the stadium and then moved inside the premises of the "Elbasan Arena", where the situation deteriorated into physical violence.

Several people were reportedly injured in the clashes, and the police had to intervene to bring the situation under control. The police had to remove the fans from the pitch and calm the tensions in the stadium stands.

Despite the incidents and material damage, the match started on time. The situation at the stadium remains under strict observation by the authorities to avoid further escalation.
