Hysaj went down in history: I grew up in Albania, no one forgives you for anything

Elseid Hysaj is officially the player with the most matches in the history of the Albanian National Team, a full 94.

After the match, the defender expressed his emotions to Tv Klan, while emphasizing that he was worried about the match against Croatia in the European Championship.

Asked where he finds strength after difficult moments, Hysaj said that he does not show problems, but rather overcomes them with positivity.

"I was overcome with emotion when I was going to enter the field and break the record. The match with Croatia, in the European Championship, I am more upset than with Italy. We could have gotten a better result than 2-2. As a guy, I also keep to myself, I talk to my family, but I don't talk much about problems. I keep them closed. I try to get through them with a smile. You need a lot of positivity. I have that. It's the mentality. I grew up in Albania. Nobody forgives you for anything," said Hysaj.
