"Golden Ball", the names of the candidates are published

The names of the 30 best footballers of last season, who will compete for the "2025 Ballon d'Or", have been published.

The ceremony will take place on September 22 in Paris. The list includes familiar names such as Haaland, Bellingham, Mbappé, Vinicius, Lamine Yamal and Kane, but also surprises such as Dumfries and McTominay.

PSG has the largest representation, with Dembelé, Donnarumma and Vitinha among the candidates. At the moment, Dembele is seen among the favorites to receive the award, after an excellent season with PSG.

Donnarumma is the only Italian in the competition, while there are only three representatives from Serie A: Dumfries, Lautaro and McTominay.

The winner will replace Rodri, who triumphed last year. The evaluation is made by a jury of 100 journalists, who vote based on individual performances, impact, trophies and sporting integrity.
