Liverpool agree deal to sell striker Darwin Nunez

Liverpool remain one of the most active clubs in the summer transfer window. After the purchase of Hugo Ekitike for over 90 million euros, the club's directors have targeted Alexander Isak, offering 138 million euros plus bonuses, an offer that was rejected by Newcastle.

To justify the spending, Liverpool have sold Luis Diaz for €75m and Tyler Morton to Lyon for €10m, with potential bonuses of up to €5m. Harvey Elliott could also leave, with a price tag ranging from €55m to €65m.

Meanwhile, Darwin Nuñez is close to a move to Al-Hilal for a fee of €65m plus bonuses. The player has reportedly agreed to a move to Saudi Arabia, having been persuaded by manager Simone Inzaghi. Liverpool and Al-Hilal have reached an agreement in principle and are awaiting details to finalise the deal. The move would end a disappointing spell for Nuñez at Anfield, where he made a sensational move.
