OFFICIAL/ Unexpected before Olimpija Ljubljana-Egnatia, coach dismissed

Olimpija Ljubljana has made a surprise change ahead of their match against Egnatia. The club has announced the dismissal of coach Jorge Simao, just two days before the match against the Albanian champions in the third round of the Conference League.

The 48-year-old's adventure on the Slovenian bench has lasted only seven games, after being appointed at the beginning of last month.

Meanwhile, the dismissal was immediate and unexpected, on the eve of an important European duel, like the one against the Rrogozhina team.

However, for these remaining matches, the Slovenian team has entrusted the Croatian Ivan Senzenov. The latter has been a youth coach at Olimpija Ljubljana in the past and knows the environment.
