Scandal in Belgrade, Serbia risks exemplary punishment before Albania

The match between Serbia and England, which ended with a 5-0 victory for the English, was also accompanied by problematic behavior from the home fans.

Serbian fans were heard chanting racist chants against Kosovo during the game. Flags with a map of Kosovo as part of Serbian territory were also displayed in the stands. These actions were reflected in the match reports and are expected to be assessed by UEFA.

If the match delegate finds violations, Serbia could be punished with fines and partial or complete closure of the stadium for the match against Albania. Such a decision would directly affect the atmosphere of this match.

So far, UEFA has not given an official reaction. For Albania, holding the match without Serbian fans would be considered an advantage.
