On the eve of the match with Serbia, FIFA punishes the Albanian Football Association (AFSH)

The FIFA Disciplinary Committee has decided to fine the Albanian Football Federation 10,000 Swiss francs for incidents that occurred outside the "Air Albania" stadium during the Albania - Latvia match, on September 9, 2025, as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

The Albanian Football Association (AFH) announces that it will appeal this decision to the relevant FIFA authorities and has initiated legal proceedings.

The Federation calls on fans to show citizenship and support the National Team in upcoming matches without causing situations that damage its image and interests. We also request full cooperation from law enforcement institutions to ensure that every challenge is a football celebration.
