Norwegians welcomed as heroes after World Cup

The Norwegian national team was welcomed with great celebrations in Oslo after returning from the World Cup, where it achieved the best result in its history by reaching the quarterfinals.

Around 90,000 fans gathered in the capital to greet the players. The celebrations took place in the square in front of the Royal Palace, which became the main center of activities.

One of the most special moments was the traditional “Viking Row” ceremony, where players and fans celebrated together. Crown Prince Haakon also attended the celebration, leading the cheers and joining in the festive atmosphere.

Norway were eliminated in the quarter-finals after losing 2-1 to England in extra time. Despite the elimination, their appearance at this World Cup was considered historic for Norwegian football.

The fans celebrated the team's success and welcomed the team as the protagonists of one of the most important chapters in the history of the national team.
