Friendly with Italy, the match for the red and black national team is official

The U-21 national team will hold another important international test, as on June 8, 2026, it will face Italy U-21 at the "Omero Tognon" stadium in Pordenone.

The Albanian Football Federation has reached an agreement with the Italian Football Federation to hold this friendly match, which will start at 18:15.

This match will be the second match in the framework of the June training camp for the U-21 National Team. Meanwhile, the Albanian Football Association is working to finalize another friendly match, which is expected to take place during the first week of June.

These friendly matches are part of the U-21 National Team's preparations for the 2027 U-21 European Championship, where Albania is automatically qualified as one of the host countries.

The red and black team comes into this phase with a very positive form, recording four wins in the last four friendly matches.

The June meetings will serve the technical staff, led by Alban Bushi, to evaluate and test the elements of the group on the eve of the end of the 2025-2026 season.
