Chelsea's crisis continues, sixth consecutive defeat

Chelsea's situation is getting worse and worse. The London team suffered another defeat, marking their sixth consecutive defeat in the Premier League.

In the match valid for the 35th week, the Blues were defeated at their own stadium by Nottingham with a score of 1-3.

The match started badly for the home team, who conceded a goal in the second minute through Awoniyi, while Igor Jesus doubled the advantage for the visitors shortly afterwards. Chelsea's attempts to come back were hampered when Cole Palmer failed to score from the penalty spot before the end of the first half.

In the second half, Nottingham scored a third goal, again by Awoniyi, practically securing the victory. Although Joao Pedro scored a goal for the Blues towards the end of the match, this goal was only for statistics.

With this result, Chelsea is positioned in ninth place with 48 points, while Nottingham takes an important step towards survival by climbing to 16th place.
