Tirana Police have solved a theft case, which occurred at midnight on June 23.

The incident occurred on "Gjon Buzuku" street where three people threatened the owner of the apartment with a chainsaw and stole a considerable amount of euros as well as 4 cell phones.

Two of the perpetrators have been arrested, while their accomplice has been declared wanted.

Tirana/The operation codenamed "Doorbell" is finalized, to uncover the theft with cutting tools, carried out at midnight on 23.06.2026, in an apartment on "Gjon Buzuku" street.

They threatened the owners of the apartment with cutting tools, where they stole a considerable amount of euros and 4 cell phones, and 2 citizens were arrested.

Their accomplice has also been identified. Efforts are underway to capture him.

900 euros and 4 cell phones, suspected to be stolen, were seized.

As a result of quick and professional investigative actions, carried out after the notification that in the apartment of 2 citizens, on "Gjon Buzuku" street, at midnight, on June 23, 2026, a sum of money and 4 mobile phones were stolen through threats with cutting tools, the Crime Investigation specialists of Police Commissariat No. 4 finalized the codenamed "Doorbell" operation.

As part of the operation, the suspected co-authors, citizens ES, 20 years old and KK, 19 years old, were arrested in the area called "Alliasi", and the other suspected author, citizen Xh. T., 21 years old, was declared wanted.

From the investigations so far, it is suspected that they threatened the 2 owners of the apartment on "Gjon Buzuku" street with several cutting tools, in order to steal a considerable amount of euros and 4 cell phones.

Work is underway to capture the 21-year-old, as well as to fully document the criminal activity in the field of theft, in which these citizens may have been involved.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
