Laçi champion, President Duka hands over the trophy

The First Division season ended with a dramatic final in Korça, where Laçi triumphed 0-1 over Skënderbeg thanks to a goal in the 96th minute by Arlind Kurti, securing the championship title in the final moments.

Thanks to this victory, Laçi climbs to first place with 79 points and is declared champion of the 2025-2026 season, while Skënderbeu closes the championship in second place with 77 points. Both teams had previously secured promotion and will compete in the Superiore next season.

At the end of the match, the Football Federation organized the official ceremony to announce the champion. The President of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, handed over the medals and trophy to the Laçi team, in a festive atmosphere, concluding a championship fought until the last seconds.

The First Category season was characterized by strong rivalry and numerous emotions, while the verdict for the title was decided only in the last act, giving even more value to Laç's success.
