Juventus shows strength, wins superchallenge against Roma

Juventus won 2-1 against Roma in the 16th week of Serie A superchallenge and moved one point closer to fourth place, held by the yellow and reds.

The first half was balanced and with few chances, until the 44th minute, when Conceiçao scored after a quick move by the black and whites.

In the second half, Juventus started better and increased the pressure on Roma. In the 70th minute, Openda scored his second goal of the match and his first in Serie A, after a recovered ball in the area.

Roma reacted quickly and narrowed the deficit in the 75th minute through Baldanzi. The visitors looked for an equalizer, but were unsuccessful. In the 80th minute, Juventus came close to a third goal through Yildiz, but the ball hit the post.
