Liverpool wins the match of 3 goals and 2 red cards

Liverpool won 2-1 against Tottenham away, in the match valid for the 17th week of the Premier League.

In the 30th minute, Tottenham were left with one man down after Xavi Simons' red card, given after a VAR review.

In the second half, Liverpool took advantage of their numerical advantage and took the lead with a goal from Alexander Isak, after an assist from Florian Wirtz. Tottenham tried to react, but failed to equalize. Liverpool also scored the second goal through Hugo Ekitike, after a header inside the area.

Richarlison scored for the home side, narrowing the deficit. In the end, Liverpool managed to hold on to the lead and secure three points, moving up to fifth with 29 points, while Tottenham remain in 13th place with 22 points.
