Inter loses on penalties, Bologna qualifies for Super Cup final

Bologna has qualified for the Italian Super Cup final after defeating Inter on penalties, in the match held at the King Saud University Stadium in Saudi Arabia.

Inter took the lead in the second minute through Marcus Thuram, following a cross from Bastoni. Bologna equalised after half an hour, with Orsolini scoring from the penalty spot after a VAR review for a handball by Bisseck.

The second half was open and with chances from both teams, while VAR also canceled a penalty initially awarded to Inter. In the last minutes, both teams had chances to win the game, but without success. Regular time ended 1-1 and the winner was decided on penalties.

Bologna proved to be more accurate, winning 3-2. In the final, Bologna will face Napoli.
