Big loss for Kosovo, starter leaves the squad

Amir Rrahmani has been withdrawn from the Kosovo squad due to injury. The defender suffered an injury in the match against Switzerland and will not be available for the upcoming match against Sweden.

The Kosovo Football Federation announced that after medical examinations, his inability to play has been determined. The captain has returned to Napoli, where he will undergo detailed checks and begin rehabilitation.

Kosovo will face Sweden on Monday at "Fadil Vokrri", as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Rrahmani's departure is seen as a significant absence for the team's defense.

The objective is for him to recover in time for the October matches against Slovenia and Sweden. The federation stressed that the player remains motivated to return as soon as possible with the Dardanelles jersey.
