Flick knows Inter defender well, heading to Barcelona

Benjamin Pavard is expected to be one of the most talked about at the end of this transfer window, as Inter no longer considers him an irreplaceable player and he could leave soon.

The French defender has several offers, including from Galatasaray, a Saudi Arabian club, as well as interest from his former team Lille.

However, Pavard is not keen on going to Saudi Arabia, while for Lille the transfer is difficult due to financial demands.

Barcelona have also entered the race, having previously tracked the player. Coach Hansi Flick knows the player well from his time at Bayern and considers him an alternative to the defense. Pavard's agent, Pini Zahavi, has close relations with Barcelona president Laporta, which could help in the negotiations.

However, the Catalan club's priority remains to sign other players in La Liga before taking concrete steps for Pavard. His situation could only be resolved in the final days of the transfer window.
