Special contract, Kumbulla joins new team

Marash Kumbulla will sign with Mallorca, starting another experience in La Liga. The Albanian national team defender moves from Roma to the Spanish team on loan, with an option to buy for 6 million euros plus 2 million in bonuses.

He returns to Spain after a brilliant season with Espanyol, convincing Mallorca to bring him in to strengthen their defensive line. The deal was reached after specific details regarding the player's salary were agreed.

The Spanish club will cover the majority of Kumbulla's salary, while Roma will contribute the remainder. If Mallorca secure survival and certain conditions are met, the Spaniards will pay the full salary.

This transfer gives the Albanian defender the opportunity to gain important minutes in a championship he already knows well.
