Terrible loss, Neymar has nightmares. The dismissal is coming

Santos suffered a crushing 0-6 defeat in the Brazilian Serie A match against Vasco da Gama, which constitutes the heaviest defeat of Neymar's career.

At the end of the match, the Brazilian striker was seen crying on the pitch, as teammates and the opposing coach tried to calm him down.

He described the team's performance as "shameful", while stating that he had never experienced anything like it before and stated that fans have the right to protest, while defining insults as acceptable in this situation.

The heavy result also brought about a drastic decision. Coach Kleber Xavier, in charge since April, was fired immediately after the loss.

Santos is now in 15th place in the standings, just two points above the relegation zone.

Neymar, with his return to Santos at the beginning of 2025, is facing one of the most difficult periods of his sporting career.
