Bundesliga/ Dortmund close in on the championship, closing in on Bayern. Results and standings

Borussia Dortmund won 2-1 away against Wolfsburg, recording their fifth consecutive success in the Bundesliga.

The match started with more chances for the home team, who missed several clear scoring opportunities in the first half. Dortmund took the lead in the 38th minute through Julian Brandt, following a corner kick.

Wolfsburg equalized early in the second half, with Konstantinos Koulierakis scoring with a header from a free kick.

The home team dominated the game in the second half and came close to scoring a second goal several times, but without success. In the final minutes, Dortmund scored the decisive goal through Serhou Guirassy.

With this victory, Dortmund moves closer to Bayern Munich by just three points.

In other matches, Stuttgart lost 2-1 to St Pauli, while Mainz triumphed 2-0 over Augsburg. Hamburg also won over Heidenheim with the same result. Minimal success for Freiburg against Werder Bremen.
