At the Korça Vocational Technical School, students are showing extraordinary skills and passion in the fields they pursue, through practical projects that not only demonstrate the knowledge they have acquired, but also their commitment to becoming professionals of the future.
Ersi Haliti, a second-year student in the "Transportation Vehicle Service" department, enthusiastically talks about one of the most special projects he has completed with his group, a small vehicle with detachable mechanical parts and a functional engine.
"We have created this small vehicle where we have realized the detachable mechanical part. We also have the service part of the transport vehicles, which is the engine. This took about 4-5 months. It is a very good work that we liked a lot. We are very happy and proud that we realized it," said Haliti.

Andi Shaliu, a third-year student, has also contributed to technologically advanced projects. He explains the construction of a model house with parking sensors, door sensors, and an electrical system installed by the students themselves.
"Together with the group, we built a house where we made parking sensors and a door sensor. We made a two-position switch for the exterior of the house and the interior installations, such as distribution boxes and switches. There are always difficulties along the way, but we managed to do it with the group. It took us almost 2 months, we are satisfied with the work we did," said Shaliu.

Daniel Shabani, a first-year student in the hydraulics department, shares the experience of a joint project between the three branches of the school, construction, electrical and thermohydraulics. They built a model of an overpass with detailed construction and functional lighting. Among other things, with great pride, Daniel calls on young people to choose the Vocational Technical School to become professionals in the future.
"Students from three departments, construction, electrical and thermohydraulics, worked on the overpass. The construction part and the cross-section, as you can see, were carried out by construction students, while the part of the electric poles with clay pipes was carried out by thermohydraulics students, starting from gluing and rubbing them. Then the lighting was carried out by electrical students. From the beginning of this work, which was the drawing, to the final phase, it took almost 5 months. When we see this work during recess in the school lobby, we feel very happy that our efforts have been worth what this work gives us. I tell all young people to come to the technical vocational school if they want to become professionals of the future," said Shabani.

Meanwhile, the school's director, Anxhela Taho, dwells on the importance of the "Open Days", a tradition now at this institution. Taho adds that the cooperation with the educational institutions of the region has been very fruitful and that more than 60% of the schools of the region have already visited the Vocational Technical School.
"For years now, we have been organizing "Open Days" at the Technical Vocational School, three full days available to all 9-year schools in the Korça region, with the aim of organizing visits and presenting the offer of the technical vocational school to all interested parties. These are days in which we exhibit all the works of the students during the school year, we present the offer with the opportunities that this school offers. During these meetings, we give the parents of these students the opportunity to get acquainted with these demanded directions in the market of the Korça region and not only. What we have seen so far is the high interest of the schools, where fortunately we have a very good cooperation with all the educational directorates of the region. Today we can say that we have more than 60% of the schools that have visited our school. Until September when the new school year begins, our doors will be continuously open to students and parents", - said Taho.
The Korça Vocational Technical School is proving every day that investing in vocational education brings concrete results and inspires young people towards a secure and successful future./CNA
