Former President Ilir Meta has shared his position after the claim made yesterday by the Special Prosecution Office regarding his former mother-in-law and two other citizens, part of the faction of his file.

In an interview with "Syri TV", Meta avoided a direct comment regarding this development, arguing that it is about confronting other people with justice, including their lawyers.

Meta further adds that Fatime Kryemadhi, Pirro Xhixho and Ema Çoku have no type of collaboration with him and that he was not aware of their irregular actions.

"It is not up to me to comment on other people's encounters with justice, especially since they are free and have their own lawyers. Meanwhile, no one has summoned me to their trial, while I have requested the summoning of all three to my trial. But I want to reconfirm to you that none of them has ever had any kind of collaboration with me in violating the law, nor have I ever had any knowledge of any of their irregular actions," Meta said. /CNA
