Sculpture of clarinet master Laver Bariu inaugurated in Përmet

Amidst emotions and music, among many Përmet residents, friends, guests, curious tourists and with the presence of Laver Bariu's five children, yesterday evening in Përmet the official inauguration ceremony of the sculpture of the immortal artist, the master of the clarinet, was organized.

The presence of Laver Bariu's five children at this ceremony was a special moment for those present, who expressed deep gratitude for this legacy they have given to Përmet and Albania.

The ceremony, which began in the center of Përmet, was curated in every detail by the city's young dancers and sazets, and will remain in the collective memory of the respect paid to immortal Përmet artists, not only locally, but also nationally and internationally.

The sculptor who cast Laver in bronze, amidst emotions, expresses that the idea was fantastic, while while working on the object, he listened to Laver's singing in the background as an inspiration to transform it into a tangible work.
