Panajot Falo tells his journey from emigration to opening the "George" guesthouse in Voskopoja. The guesthouse, which he opened in his parents' house.

Panayotis says that after 30 years of emigration to Zakynthos, Greece, he and his wife decided to return to their homeland and open their own business.

He says that in the last 4-5 years Voskopoja has undergone a huge change and Panajoti calls his decision to return the right one.

" The first day I left Voskopoja I said my foot won't step on it anymore. I was wrong. Your country, your house is very expensive. In the years 1990-'91, Voskopoja was in a difficult situation. Like everyone else, we took the path of emigration, together with my wife we ??decided to emigrate. We went to a beautiful island in Greece, to Zakynthos. There we started working. The time was very long, 30 years, there the children were born, grew up, studied. The work was very hard, we were young and worked day and night. I worked in construction, building stone villas on the island. My wife worked in a restaurant as an assistant cook. The children grew up, we grew up too and one day we decided to return to Voskopoja. I watched Voskopoja start to move forward. I always thought that one day I would return and we said that I would open my own place and we did. With many sacrifices, we are achieving our goal.

I am very happy, first of all, that I am in my own home, no one directs me. When you are young, you like emigration, you like to go out, work, make a little more money than in your own country. You put up with everything, even being insulted. You put up with it when someone else's work is not going well. When you get older, you have to have your own job to work honestly, not to look down on someone else. I know what emigration is. They try to go to Germany, they work hard, they pay the rent, when it comes to work, they don't have as much left as in Albania. The last four or five years have seen a huge change in Voskopoja. My decision was the right one in the right place. I have invested in my home, everything I touch, everything I see reminds me of my parents, my childhood. There is nothing better than your place ", said the owner of the guesthouse "George"./ CNA
