"I have handed over the sword of justice"/ Rama to judges: They are

Prime Minister Edi Rama, at the parliamentary group meeting, focusing on the salaries of judges and their demands, said that they are paid to govern the new justice system, not to complain about non-existent pressures.

Rama stated that they cannot complain about pressure from the prime minister, when it was he who gave them the so-called "sword of justice", which he said had been kept in his office for years.

Rama further said that he could be accused of interference when he speaks about a case that is still under trial. Rama said that he has raised the alarm about the number of detainees and according to the EC report.

The leading socialist declared that he raised the alarm about the damage that the judges' association would cause to the state budget by increasing their salaries.

 

" They are paid like chickens to govern the new justice system, not to complain about non-existent pressures from me, who handed them the sword of independent justice, which was sitting in my office."

"None of us should deal with the mistakes and errors of the new justice system, because our goal is to seek understanding for things that are not going well or are getting so bad that they harm the common cause for the democratic rule of law ," Rama said.
