Group meeting/ Rama: Today our leadership skills are being tested

Prime Minister Edi Rama delivered the opening speech at the meeting of the Socialist parliamentary group. In his speech, Rama said that leadership skills and political maturity are being tested at these moments.

Rama said that with reference to EU membership, the risk of Albania becoming negligible is real, while the country is now at a point where it is more relevant than ever.

 

" After a historic election victory, after the opening of all chapters, as well as developments related to justice reform and economic growth, I believe that we must see together that we are at a crossroads.

The risk of us becoming irrelevant is real. We are more relevant than ever and we can become even more relevant.

Today, our leadership skills, political and social maturity are being tested. The first of our political family when we need to climb and when the difference between where we are and where we need to reach is made every day by the way we use it. It is not easy to climb from an abyss to a normality, which we did. It is even more difficult to climb higher. The most important thing is that in this crossroads we have an unerring compass, Albania in the EU.

"Today we are closer to membership, not metaphorically ," Rama said.
