Tensions in the Parliament/Political scientist Krasniqi: The DP wanted to give

Political scientist Afrim Krasniqi commented today on the tense situation this Thursday in the Albanian Parliament, where many democratic deputies were involved.

Invited to A2 CNN, Krasniqi said that through today's action inside parliament, representatives of the Democratic Party wanted to give messages to citizens, not only about the situation in the country, but also as a way to mobilize for Monday's protest.

"The DP wanted to give two messages. The first, to make international news and it did. But there were no protests, there were incidents due to the corruption scandal. Everyone says: a deputy prime minister was involved in the scandal and the parliament created an incident.

The DP needs to mobilize its structures for the rally it has announced for Monday. Traditionally, whenever there have been large rallies, parliamentary incidents have preceded them.

 You can't tell half of the Albanians who think differently that they are 'been'. It's a medieval, insulting and denigrating expression for Albanian society.

"Nothing has been clarified. The only announcement is that there is a file placed in a secret safe, which will be opened tomorrow, while the opposition is excluded from the process," Krasniqi declared. /CNA
