"Dissolve the parliament"/ Berisha and DP deputies arrive at the Assembly

Democratic Party Leader Sali Berisha, accompanied by other DP MPs, has arrived at the Parliament for the plenary session.

Before entering the Assembly, Berisha spoke to the media where he said that the Parliament should be dissolved and the citizens should win their battle.

"The Parliament is meeting under siege! Its only responsible act is to declare its end, its dissolution, and pave the way for the elections that all Albanian youth and citizens are seeking."

"Any other act is ultimately worthless. That is why we are demanding today the self-proclaimed dissolution of this parliament. This is, I say once again, the only right decision that the parliament can take today ," Berisha said briefly.

Meanwhile, a few meters away from the Parliament, clashes and tensions continue between protesters and police officers. /CNA
