Interim decision hearing/Capri: Not at all accidental, in the service of corrupt

Opportunity Party MP Erald Kapri described today's session of the United Colleges as not at all accidental.

Invited to the 'Now' show, Kapri emphasized that this meeting was simply aimed at changing detention policies, which, as he said, serve the country's corrupt officials.

According to Kapri, it is naive to believe that today's session was accidental, as such a decision does not come from pity for ordinary citizens.  

"We raised the concern in the plenary session and surprisingly Talant Balla was moved and said that the judges will meet and decide based on a practice that came from the Strasbourg Court, to change the detention policy in Albania. We reacted there and said that this is very serious because the leader of the majority warned in parliament what decision the Supreme Court will make. So, here, there is a political background. Let's not be naive! How is it possible that, completely by chance, 15 years without meeting, since 2011, they are meeting now and specifically on an issue that is of great interest to the majority, which is related precisely to the detention of its corrupt officials. That's it! Because the majority does not feel sorry for ordinary people. This majority, for 12 years, has made a repressive penal policy", - said Kapri./ CNA
