Ervin Salianji, also known as "Babalja", is continuing by all means the mission he has undertaken for a long time to serve Prime Minister Edi Rama.

In a meeting held in the city of Berat, Salianji remotely mentioned to Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha the DP statute, which according to him requires the resignation of the leader when the party does not emerge as a winning force in the elections.

Salianji, who has wanted to portray himself as the "savior" of the DP lately, seems to have expressed his desire to make the DP the winner himself.

"There have been losers who have become MPs since 1996. Meanwhile, we have also had cases of success, even in traditionally left-wing areas, where the DP has not won for 20 years, such as Kruja and Fushë-Kruja. But have we ever talked about these cases? We have sanctioned in the statute that, if the party fails to be a winning force, there are no excuses: the chairman resigns and paves the way for another race, to make the DP the winner.
