"American bigot"/ Bylykbashi: Rama will not withdraw from legal

Democratic Party MP Oerd Bylykbashi said today that Prime Minister Edi Rama will not give up on his proposal for legal changes to the Criminal Procedure Code, even though he may receive a reprimand for this in the US during his visit to the 'Peace Board'.

In a television show, Bylykbashi stated that despite the socialists' claims that the initiative has a retroactive effect, it still remains a criminal procedural law.

"I don't believe that Edi Rama will step down, even if the 'Peace Board' comes here. I don't believe it, because it's existential. So, it's not just a matter of Balluku or a simple interest, it's a matter of his existential need, since he is being hit politically. If there will be a 'bang' for this there, that's another story. I'm talking about the current state of things, about what we've seen these days and about this proposal that has been presented. Now the debate will be this, they will claim that this has a retroactive effect. The Constitution speaks of a favorable criminal law that has a retroactive effect, but this is a criminal procedural law," Bylykbashi said./CNA
