Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi spoke today regarding the proposal for legal changes to the Criminal Procedure Code proposed by the Socialist Party.

Invited to the 'A Show' show with journalist Adi Krasta, the MP emphasized that this effort by Prime Minister Edi Rama is like a license to steal.

According to the Democrat, such an amendment that prevents suspension from office is also an obstruction of justice.

"Nominatively, there are about 29 people who have been appointed. I want to stop at the cabinet to have a license to steal in this country. It means that even if the prosecutor for years, manages to prove beyond any reasonable doubt that the activity of an official with this function conflicts with the law, so he goes to the office to put his hands in the pockets of Albanians and obstruct justice. Rama says that even in these cases it is impossible to suspend because he wants it that way. This is the dividing point that spills the cup and it is unimaginable for an Albanian to accept this standard", - said Këlliçi. /CNA
