"They are authorized to get their hands on Albanians' data"/

Democratic Party MP Jorida Tabaku responded through a video message about e-government.

Tabaku states that this law gives them the right to get their hands on Albanians' data.

The MP says that the government is introducing laws to protect against corruption.

For the last two days, with extraordinary speed, with the speed of those who want to escape the law and protect themselves from the law, the Albanian Parliament has been discussing the law on electronic governance. The law on electronic governance creates a business that will be in charge of operating and maintaining all the systems, all the data of the Republic of Albania.

What does this mean? This means that if until yesterday an individual was doing this illegally, now he is legal to do so. If until yesterday a structured criminal group was managing tenders, distributing tenders, now it will do so legally through this business.

If until yesterday the personal data of Albanians were at risk, investigative files, business data, TIMS data and any other data of the Republic of Albania, today they are legally allowed to have and get their hands on the data of Albanians. If until yesterday the Parliament of Albania protected the interests of business, brought laws sponsored by businesses to this parliament, today it brings laws to protect against corruption.

This is a captured state. We must change this. We do not need a republic of the corrupt, we do not need a government of the corrupt, we need the Republic of Albania with the rights that the citizens of Albania have and should have.
