"The opposition has had many bonuses"/ Kikia: Political capital and

Journalist Mentor Kikia today focused on an extensive analysis of what can be considered the background to the opposition protests.

In a television appearance, Kikia stated that the opposition had many 'bonuses' to exploit that would have changed the political reality, but this did not translate into political capital.

According to the journalist, the opposition has increased the dose of aggression in the protests held from January onwards, despite the fact that a larger mobilization of citizens has not yet been created.

"The opposition has had full bonuses, which should have changed the political realities since last year's elections. After all, a government that, according to the opposition, controls everything and abuses power, public funds, administration, but also a government hit side by side by all the scandals, should have been easier to overthrow. But this did not translate into political capital for the opposition. People who might not have agreed to support Rama's government for a fourth term were not seen to throw themselves into the opposition's vote, because the number of votes is the same. So it was seen that they stood aside and did not participate. The opposition increased the dose of aggression. This is evident with Molotov cocktails, clashes, arrests, confrontations in an attempt to increase pressure on the government. It has managed to get the attention of international media, but we have not seen that this marks a mobilization of more citizens to unite again", - said Kikia. /CNA
