Prime Minister Edi Rama is present at the promotion of the book "When Silence Speaks" by Ahmet Shala, academic and former ambassador to Kosovo, who wrote about the trial in The Hague against the leadership of the KLA.

During his speech at the event, Rama said that words are difficult to find in such a situation. He said that today the Hague Prosecutor's Office, which seeks to convict the four former KLA leaders, did not have the capacity to prove the crimes alleged against them. This is because these crimes do not exist.

"I had a hard time writing a word from beginning to end because in the face of such a situation, words are not found. Among some thoughts that I believe are valid and shared with you, the first was that someone is today in the same building serving a sentence after the decision of the international court. Today, those convicted by that court are Radovan Karadzic, who was sentenced to life imprisonment for an era of terror. Ratkonadic, who was also sentenced to life imprisonment as the face of the torture machine and the author of the massacre of 8 thousand people in Srebrenica. Someone who tied up people alive and threw them into the river, watching them writhe and drown. And three other perpetrators of rape and murder. Now, at the request of the Prosecutor's Office in The Hague, 4 more will be added to these convicted. Meanwhile, the Prosecutor's Office did not have the capacity to prove anything similar because there is nothing of the kind in the activity of the 4 KLA leaders. There is no connection between the activity of "The KLA with its terror on the civilian population or the mass graves of the innocent," Rama said. /CNA
