Hormonal therapy/ Akil Pano demands the suspension of the ministry's order,

The "Pro-Family Coalition" has been placed before the Ministry of Health, where through a statement to the media, the coalition's representative, Pastor Akil Pano, has requested the suspension and cancellation of the Ministry's order for hormonal therapy treatment for transgender people.

Pano has stated that the order is about the castration of children and this should be stopped.

"We demand the suspension and cancellation of the order aimed at the castration of children. We are dealing with a ministry that should treat the sick, but they are not seen as patients but as clients. A ministry that should produce social policies, but it is a failure as Albanians continue to go abroad to find treatment," said Pano.

The "Pro-Family Coalition" has sent a document with several requests to the Ministry of Health and if they are not met, Pano said that he will open a case in the Administrative Court against Minister Evis Sala and other officials engaged in the formulation of this law. / CNA
