Këlliçi: Edi Rama, officially an obstacle to the country's

Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi, in a post on social media, states that Prime Minister Edi Rama is an obstacle to the country's integration into the EU.

Këlliçi says that Rama is choosing to protect corruption and himself, instead of Albania's European integration. According to the MP, integration is the cause of the entire nation and must be protected by the citizens themselves.

Full post:

Edi Rama, officially an obstacle to the country's integration!

When you play with integration and put your personal fate and that of Belinda Balluku before historical aspirations, the consequences will not be long in coming. Edi Rama's manipulations with lobbying and seducing diplomats today took a heavy blow in Tirana.

The Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs in the European Parliament, David MacAllister, stated that the Balluku issue is a: "Critical test for Albania."

Officially, Edi Rama, with his defense of corruption and the affairs of his main collaborator, has become a problem, a condition for integration.

There is now a new obstacle between Albania and Brussels. The Balluku case. It became such because Edi Rama obstructed justice and refused the measures requested by the prosecution, which, so far, has proven the abuse of Edi Rama's right wing, with at least 11 procedures and 1.1 billion euros.

If Edi Rama did not create special immunity for himself and Balluku, if he allowed the investigation, if he would behave before the law as equal to others, if he would give up his immunity, perhaps this case would serve not only transparency, public interest, but undoubtedly also integration.

But Edi Rama acted in the opposite way. And he did this to protect his chair and his skin first and foremost, because he knows what awaits him. Balluku before justice means that the same fate awaits him. And instead of integration, he chose to protect himself.

It is no coincidence that one of the statements made today by the high representative of Brussels was that politicians should act by their own example.

Edi Rama's example is now officially a condition, an obstacle, a critical test for Albania. But integration is not something that a Prime Minister caught in affairs can play with and make a mess of as he pleases. It is the cause of the nation and as such will be preserved and protected by the citizens.

This is being seen every day, but it will be demonstrated with due solemnity and power on Friday, February 20th.

We unite in the square with energy, with passion, with love for Albania. / CNA
