Prime Minister Edi Rama was present at the Annual Conference of the IAIS (International Organization of Insurance Supervisors), the largest gathering of insurance supervisors, taking place for the first time in the Balkan region.

Rama emphasized that the modernization of insurance supervision in Albania marks an important step towards a more integrated financial system.

The Prime Minister said that the challenges are numerous but so are the opportunities. Thus, through innovation, Rama said, uncertainty can be transformed into resistance, complexity into strength, and crisis into new opportunities.

Among other things, Rama underlined that this is a world of the brave, either all nations will come together to save humanity or humanity will go to hell with all nations.

"Progress is evident, as highlighted in the EC report, and the modernization of insurance supervision in Albania marks an important step towards a more integrated financial system."

The challenges are immense, but so are the opportunities. Through innovation, we can transform uncertainty into resilience, complexity into strength, and crisis into new opportunities.

This is a world of the brave and it is a moment when the choice could not be clearer: either to move forward on the path of inertia, to close our eyes in front of the iceberg before the iceberg sinks us all, or to be brave to open a new path that will save us all. What is of interest in today's world is that no one can save themselves or their nation alone. Either all nations will come together to save humanity or humanity will go to hell with all nations," said Rama./ CNA
