The historic victory of the Albanian national team in Andorra/ Rama: Pride for

Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted on social media to the historic victory of the Albanian national team against Andorra. Rama has shared footage of the goal scored in the second half of the match by player Kristjan Asllani in the 67th minute, while expressing his pride for the red and black team.

"Come on Albanians. FOOORCAAA ALBANIAAAAA. Proud of the red and blacks ," Rama writes alongside the images.

Albania reached a historic milestone tonight, securing qualification for the World Cup play-offs for the first time. The Reds narrowly won against Andorra on the road, a result that was combined with Serbia's loss against England. This combination of results gave Albania second place in the group and a mathematical passage to the next stage. 

With this victory, Albania moves to 14 points, four more than Serbia, which is ranked third. The team has already secured its position, regardless of the result of the last match. The next and final match of the group stage will be played on November 16 against England, at “Air Albania”.  /CNA
