"We are working on a project that connects East and West", Rama: The

Prime Minister Edi Rama delivered his speech at the joint media conference with his Italian counterpart Giorgia Meloni.

Rama said during his speech that Italy and Albania are working on another project of great strategic importance that will connect the East with the West and which, according to him, will include countries such as Romania, Bulgaria, Italy and Albania.

The head of government further announced that work is also underway to open the first Italian art museum in Albania.

"We have one of the largest energy projects in Europe, which is moving forward to contribute to Europe's energy sovereignty, through the interconnection line between Albania and Italy with the participation of the United Arab Emirates. We are working on a project that will connect the East with the West and will include countries like Romania, Bulgaria, Italy and Albania and is of great strategic importance. Then we have culture, if culture were not present, there would be no Italy either. This honors this government but also honors its minister. As far as I am concerned, we finally have a concrete agreement to bring together a structure of great European importance such as Rome's MAXXI with our National Gallery. I hope that the museum of Italian art in Albania will be another concrete fact and I hope that you will be the one who will open the doors of that museum ," said Rama. /CNA
